Sample Prep Technician (PM Shift)
Job Description: Responsible for preparation of soil and water samples for analysis by EPA methods and laboratory SOPs, during 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM shift.
Duties include: Ensuring samples are extracted/digested/prepped properly within EPA-standard holding times, preparation of standards, entering prep information and complete logging of sample information, compliance with NELAC QA/QC guidelines.
Additional duties may include: Management/ordering of inventory for consumables and chemicals, sample waste management.
Job Requirements: High school diploma. Environmental laboratory experience a plus.
This is a full-time hourly position. May include occasional weekend/overtime work.
